Unlocking every Social Link in Persona 3 Reload requires players to keep an eye out for specific NPCs scattered across Tatsumi Port Island. One such character is Nozomi Suemitsu, often referred to as the chubby student, who represents the Moon Arcana. Assisting him allows players to initiate a unique narrative path that expands their fusion options and social stats progress.
Where to Find the Chubby Student in Persona 3 Reload
To locate Nozomi Suemitsu, players must head to the Paulownia Mall area during daytime hours. He can be found sitting on a bench near the fountain, usually daydreaming or talking about food. However, he will only interact meaningfully with the protagonist once specific prerequisites are met.
Before you can begin his Social Link, you must reach Rank 2 in Charm by answering classroom questions correctly or spending time at local shops. Players tracking RPG updates and character guides through daily gaming news often emphasize prioritizing early stat increases to prevent missing timed events. Once your Charm is high enough, speaking with Nozomi will trigger his initial dialogue sequence.
Required Items to Help Nozomi Suemitsu
Helping the chubby student requires bringing him a specific food item to earn his trust. Nozomi will demand an Odd Morsel, a item that cannot be purchased from standard convenience stores. Instead, players must venture into Tartarus to discover this item inside treasure chests scattered across the initial blocks.
After handing over the Odd Morsel, Nozomi will challenge you with a quick trivia quiz about his favorite drink. You must select the correct answer, which is Mystery Burger, followed by answering his next questions accurately. Succeeding in this test proves your dedication and officially unlocks the Moon Social Link.
How to Progress the Moon Social Link Efficiently
Once the link is established, spending time with Nozomi on available days will gradually increase your rank with him. Carrying a Persona of the Moon Arcana in your active stock provides bonus points during dialogue choices, allowing you to rank up faster. Choosing answers that agree with his perspective or encourage his gourmet interests will yield the highest affinity points.
Managing your calendar wisely ensures you maximize Nozomi's rank without neglecting other school friends or athletic clubs. Since he is available on most days including off-school periods, he serves as an excellent Social Link option when other classmates are unavailable. Completing his storyline rewards players with access to powerful Moon Arcana Persona fusions late in the game.
